Praise & Worship

Derrick Gardner

Worship is one of the core foundations of Destiny Christian Fellowship. Our desire is to use our songs and music to help people connect with God in a greater way.

We believe that God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3) and we strive to worship Him “in spirit and truth” (John 4:24).

Our goal is to provide an atmosphere where the Spirit of the Lord can be experienced personally and corporately. Worship team ministry is for those who are called to make a commitment to serve the Lord with their musical talents.

Our worship combines contemporary style with the elements of traditional flavor.

Small Groups

James Neil

We believe real life change happens in the context of authentic relationships, which is why we are a church made up of small groups. In the Bible, they worshiped in the temple, but personal ministry happened “house to house.”

“You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house.” Acts 20:20

Small groups provide:

A place to CONNECT with others.

A place to PROTECT each other.

A place to GROW together.

A small group is an intentional gathering of people who meet regularly. Since God designed us for relationships, we believe it is through the connections made in small groups that God will help us grow. People form groups around what matters in their lives. This can look like connecting with people who share similar interests or are at the same stage in life as well as finding people who have experience in an area in which you want to grow. Small groups are also where we pray for each other and support each other.

Youth Ministry

Mallory Benjamin

Our primary goal is to lead our young people into developing their personal relationship with Jesus Christ by helping them discover God’s purpose for them and equipping them to live it out in their daily life. We create an environment where our youth can engage in genuine worship, receive solid biblical teaching and be inspired to serve others. We also give them the skills and provide support they need to make wise decisions in their lives.

Our desire is to see EACH of them live lives pleasing to the Lord, WALKING according to His ways, bearing FRUIT in their lives, and GROWING in their love and knowledge of Him.

"For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God." (Colossians 1:9-10)

Kids Ministry

Dawn McBride

Our mission is to equip kids with a foundation of faith that allows them to grow in their relationship with God and inspires them to share the message of Christ with others.

We have a great team of volunteers who love working with kids and sharing Christ with them. We engage our kids in authentic discussion about the Bible and how to live out the life of a Christ follower.

Our team creates a safe environment where our kids are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus. We lead our children into a relationship with Jesus through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands-on activities and personal interactions.
